VEO VELOCITY V006 webcam

WTF happened???? It used to work great and looked cool, but would disappear and needed to be re-installed about every month

I was up to web camera #12 on at one point... THEN lately it would go BOOM! CRASH! BLACK! OFF! KILL! SHUTOFF DEAD! my system like I pulled the plug! whenever I tried to access the camera at all !

Now I get nothing - have reinstalled from original CD 4X now - says all is well, but IT AIN'T A WORKIN' AT ALL!!! XP SP2, all current and badass HW - should I toss it in the creek or is there any hope for what I am suspecting is a COSTLY STINKY PEICE OF ****?

If you go to the Veo website and look under the support section you will be able to search your product and download a driver for your operating system. A vista driver will also work for windows 7 so if the company website only lists a vista driver it will work for windows 7.

My inlaws gave us a Veo Velocity web cam. It is

Try downloading the earlier OS software
Right click on the webcam icon on your desktop and click 'Properties'
Click 'Compatability' tab and select to run in the webcam OS you have downloaded
Click 'Apply' 'OK'
By trial and error check the 'Settings' boxes to achieve best results - start with 'Disable visual themes'

I reinstall windows on my computer and now my webcam doesn`t work.i lost the installetion cd of the webcam.its veo webcam.

You didn't mention your operating system. Here is an article that will definitely help, but you'll need to scroll to the bottom to download the iso files to create the cd-rom...

Drivers to install veo velocity connect web cam

1st You download Webcam Driver. Veo Velocity Webcam Driver After this install the webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver

Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager then
Select the Unknown Device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

I have windows vista is there a driver for that

Looks like veo velocity has gone out of buisness. The did not have drivers for vista.
What you can try is make sure you run windows update on your computer and if you're lucky they might have a driver that will be compatible with your webcam.
