M600i Video Problem

Is it possible to put 20min videos in M600i?
I've tried but the video's only runs for 5 minutes on my phone before cutting out and turning black.
Am I missing something?.. or is it the phone?

Which media player are you using? Are playing it on the default media player? Are you playing it on a media player called DVD player? Is it Divx player? Have you turned on the "power saving mode" to Auto? SE M600i 's OS UIQ3 is quite choosy! If a third party media player comes without proper digital signature it refuses them to access some of the phone's internal functions such as "backlight" control. Thus, the screen goes off after sometime. If you are playing it on the default media player there should be no problem. But if you're using a third party media player such as Smart movie, DVD player, etc. you might encounter this issue. What you can do is, you can turn off the "power saving mode" for the time that you're going to watch a video which is quite long. or better still use a media player which is properly signed and designed for this device. Divx player is a good (.avi) video player, you can google it. It comes with required digital signature and keeps the screen lit through out the video. Also make sure you haven't turned on the auto keypad lock on the phone.
Hope this will help.  Please post the result here so that we can proceed in greater details if the above given solution does not solve your problem. Thank you

FlipVideo software - FlipShare

I’ve had my Flip Video Pure Digital since the summer of 2007. The only problem I’ve ever had with it was the software, both the original as well as the upgrades. The current upgrade crashed within the first two minutes every time I opened it. I was never able to process a single video with it. Like you, I became extremely frustrated and sent an email to customer service. Expecting at least a 24 hour delay in response, I started combing the Internet looking for other options. In short, on the first day I received three very pleasant and timely responses from Flip Video’s support staff, but nothing worked; they finally offered to call me on the phone. By then, however, I had come up with a solution that works great for me. I use Win Vista, so don’t know how this would work on other os’s. (1) Format your camera (save all videos on it before formatting because EVERYTHING disappears from the drive). (2) Shoot your video. (3) Re-connect your camera to your computer. (4) A pop up message asks you if you want to import the videos; click yes. After importing my videos, I close that program and open up my solvergmm (avi trimmer freeware: and cut the front and back edges of the video. I can then save the video to the directory of my choice or watch it from that program. It’s extremely simple and gives me pretty much everything that the FlipShare software aspired to give me. Also, when I delete the videos from the camera I get back my complete 60 minutes instead of the time decay one gets with Flip Video’s software. Hope this helps others – it made my day!

Why does my Sony STR-K750P AV receiver automatically switch to Video 2?

Some models of systems will switch to a new source automatically if the source sees a new signal coming on. Try disconnecting the device on your Video 2 to see if this is the case.

I have seen the IC or component(s) in the switching circuits become defective and cause unpredictable or faulty operation. This can also be a fault condition you are seeing.

I try to put videos on it but it dont show up when i turn it on

Hi. In order to put videos on the Samsung T9 player, you need to use the included software (Samsung Media Studio 5) to convert the video to the .svi format that the player recognizes. You didn't say if you'd used that software or not, so I can't be more specific about a solution until you let me know exactly what you've tried so far. If you don't have the software, it or it's follow-on should be available on the Samsung support website. Just use that to convert it and then put it into the Video folder in your player (drag and drop). I've loaded videos as large as 50 minutes on mine and it worked just fine. Good luck!

Combining two different shots to one video I have HTC-EVO. I've already purchased VideoTrim Pro. I thought I could trim, combine two or more different shots to become one video shot. It doesn't...

As I know, there is no real video editor for Android. It only takesa few minutes to copy the files to PC and cut/join them exactly as you wish.
I use VidTrim Pro too.Good luck!

Extremely slow to update changes on timeline...

This is a known issue when too many edits are made. Supposedly Camtasia Studio 6 (recently released) will decrease your editing time by 30%. I have not been able to verify this yet. The best way to resolve the issue is produce what you have as an AVI and start editing that, and so on, and so on.
