Hi. I'm wanting to find an easy way to download pictures from my Cannon IXUS 8015 to my pc. My pc has recently been cleaned and I've reinstalled the relevant Cannon driver for downloading pictures. However it downloads all the pictues on the camera and I can't find a programme to edit them. I used to use Windows Picture Manager but now can't find it to download. Any ideas?

There are three ways to download your pictures.

1. Using original software and a USB cable:

To download by this way you should connect the camera to your PC with its original USB cable. And also you should use the original software of Canon that you have already installed.

2. Using a USB cable only:

You should connect your camera with a suitable USB cable. Then a popup window appears. Choose to use the camera as a storage media then download your pictures.

3. Using memory card reader:

You should remove your memory card from your camera. Then plug in to your PC card reader or if your PC does not have a card reader, you should buy a new card reader. Card readers are very cheap and can be found every market.

I offer you to download your pictures by the card reader. You can see the pictures and choose to download easily. Just drag and drop the pictures from the card to PC. This is the easiest way that I can offer to you.

You can use "photofiltre" program to edit your pictures. This program is very powerful indeed. You can do everything with this program.
