Zenith z44sz80 When watching tv it will go off by itself and sometimes it will come back on and sometimes it won't. 1 time the light next to the power light blinked 7 times red. tv stayed of until i powered it back on. tenpingr

This is interesting since I just had a technician to the house and he just replaced the bulb to try to fix my problem with the tv going off.
This is the second bulb that he put in.
The first bulb was the wrong one or defective because the tv picture was very dark.
when he put the new bulb in at least i got my good picture back but i still have issue with tv turning off by itself at random.

same here! Took the bulb out to clean around it and now the color is DARK! as well as the TV turning off every few minutes! same here! Took the bulb out to clean around it and now the color is DARK! as well as the TV turning off every few minutes!
