Pronto M71 chair, 2004 suddenly won't move, it just flashes charge or drive. The batter is NOT dead, in fact it's almost fully charged. (25 of 28). I just got this today, I barely know what I am doing!

already checked the the levers. It has something to do with the position of the chair. If I lower or raise it put it back adn forth, just mess with it a little, and then try again, I can eventually get it going. There is some little thing i'm doing that I dont know about! At least I got it going again! I'm loving it, other than a few frustrations along the way.

Hi. Check the free-wheel levers. There is one on each motor. If you can push the machine along the floor, then the lever is in the wrong position.
If it still doesn't work, then count the flashes of each LED, and let us know.
I had this problem last week on a machine, and the local auto electrician couldn't fix it.
Good luck. Neil.

Spj-80, model 1122190. Why doesn't it move?

you may have a current rollback problem you will need to charge the Chair for 14hrs. with the Joystick on! This will reset the circuit. Charge with the joystick on! It is okay it won't hurt a thing, in fact from now on always charge with the joystick on.

Just replaced batteries and unit is operating good since i installed the battteries and i try to put on charger it says it is in the charge inhibit mode that is according to the flashing lights what does...

All that eans is that when you are charging the batteries you are unable to drive the chair. Its a safety feature to ensure that you won't accidently make the chair move with the charger plugged in. Just plug the charger into the charger port turn off the chair and then plug the charger into the wall charge overnight and in the morning unplug the charger from the wall and then from the joystick. Always have the charger off when plugging ang unplugging from the chair. With the M41 charger get a power strip with an on/off switch plug the charger into the strip and use the on/off switch to turn the charger on and off before you plug it into the chair Hope this helps you

anne no It means you need new batteries. If Medicare paid for your chair then they will pay for 80% of the repair costs. Contact Repair Express @ 1-877-581-3733 or Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-80467-2668 and they will send a tech out to check it for you and bill Medicare Hope this helps

I have a pronto 2003 chair when charging batteries it we no move even if i charge is all nigh when i trurn joystick on it flashing one red llight an 5 green lighs what is the oproble

The error code means one of three things. First it could mean the batteries did not charge up at all. Next is unlikely ,but it also means too high of a charge voltage. The code also comes on when the charger is plugged in to charge and you turn the joystick on. The chair protects itself from driving off with the charger cable plugged into the wall outlet. One more possibility exists, the onboard charger could be bad and bad batteries. You need to have a trained electronic tech check this out.

Do not know if chair is taking a charge lights just keep moving across armrest .how do u tell when fully charged?

hi let me see if i can help ,

When the lights go back and forth on your joystick that means the chair knows its pluged in .Now the chair itself has a built in charger that is mounted on the back of your chair .The back of the chair ,there is a opening a cutout in the frame .when you plug in your chair there will be a red light and a yellow ,yellow means the chair is charging, wait till it turns green, this means fully charged. When you plug in the chair youll see the lights through that hole.Look for the lights.

I recommend my customers to leave there chair charging over night look at the light it will be green when you turn the chair on the joystick should show fully charge.

Good luck hope i was of some help.

One red light three green flash when turned on

Your chair has a motor problem. The code does not tell which side it is. Make sure both motors have the brakes in the drive position before turning on the chair. Also check that both motors are plugged into the main control module in the base of the chair.
