Distorted and crackling sounds

As you mentioned, recording on left channel is correct but monitoring on left channel is distorted, the problem seems in the Power Amplifier section / output stage. See the block diagram given on page 29 of manual.

Hi this is a fault alot of people have it usually starts to happen when you have been recording and then a loud noise has happened this then damages the mic on the camcorders.
The problem you might have is going to be getting a new mic fitted as alot of the newer camcorders they dont sell replacement parts unless its a top of the range one but if the parts are not available then their is no way of repairng it the bets thing to try is look in the phone book or online for a camera repair shop or even ring a camera shop up and ask them if their are parts available for your camcorder let me know if you need further assistance

Try updating your sound card audio driver and that would fix the issue.

If the sound problem is only on one game then its a problem with the game. If its happening on all games then try the system on another TV, if the sound problem stops then its a problem with the original tv, if it still crackles then its a problem with the main board inside of the ps3.

Hello sir/mam, as i analyze you problem, there are several points that may cause these problem, 1. your hard drive might have bad sectors that at a point the heads of the hard drive have difficulties reading the information thus cuasing the sound and lag of screen to become distorted. so i suggest you regularly scan for bad sectors. 2. its a long shot, it may be your software, you have to reinstall the porgram where you saw the lag. if every thing else fails, if its not a hassle, reinstall your OS and work with a fresh copy of programs on your laptop. if you have anymore questions, let me know. thanks

That sound card isn't really being claimed by anyone anymore, both Intel and Realtek have washed their hands of it. You can do a few things. If it's a dell laptop, theres a Motherboard Update that fixes these problems (which must be installed first), there are also alternative drivers that come from the Linux world that you could try (no offense but your sound card isn't that wonderful to begin with, so I would think just sound without distortion would be good sound. It also just might be time to update your drivers and have them with me strangely enough. Let me know what you want to do.

try to open up your keyboard and try to clean some part of of your keyboard maybe grounded
