I am looking for solution and directions about wifi-ing my t5 without buying the expensive palmone sd card ... is it just hardware didn't support the card or it's software ...... can installing Linux ... will solve the problem
excuse my english ... any help will be appriciated

If you want to get WiFi, the only WiFi SD card available for the T5 is the Palm WiFi SD card. No other WiFi card compatible.
The SD card fits into the SD slot, but the card is longer than standard SD cards, so part of it extends out of the slot. This is the antenna for the WiFi radio. Also, you must install the drivers for the card or else it won't work properly. Drivers are available for free download at Palm's site. Linux will not work either without the card, sorry.

Hard rest resolved problem for me. I just posted yesterday a similar problem with my T3. While everything else was syncing fine, the Tasks from Outlook would not sync. After I posted my question, I (accidently) did a hard reset on my T3. So I set all Outlook conduit settings to 'Desktop overwrite HH' for first hotsync. This somehow corrected the problem with the Tasks, and all outlook tasks appeared on my HH. All sync's seem to be working fine now.

I suspect that you're in fact holding a Palm TX and not a T5 as the T5 does not have WiFi. If you're using the Palm SD WiFi adaptor, do a hard reset without the card.
(hold down the ON/OFF button whilst using the reset pin to press the reset button. You'll be asked if you are sure you wish to reset. You'll then be prompted to choose the language caliberate the screen etc..)
After that. Go and download all the updates and drivers from Palm Web site.
