I have Acer 640p scanner. i need its driver for windows xp. its model no 6696-0QE

1st You download Scanner Driver. Acer Scanner Driver After this install the Scanner driver in the system.
Installation of Scanner Driver

Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager then
Select the Unknown Device or Camera device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

I had to download two different drivers to get my AcerScan320U to work in Win2k (WinXP is easy, as the drivers are included with WinXP). MiraScanv3.42 does not work, but it has good drivers for getting the scanner properly recognized. After that, MiraScanv4.03u10_BQA from Benq will work, and installing it is point and click.
