Hi

This is happening due to paper jam on the gear or roller of the paper feed mechanism. Check for any small bits of paper or sheet stuck. To check lift up the top plastic lid of the Canon printer. Check to see if a jammed sheet of paper is visible inside the printer. Remove the cartridges and check for any small paper bits stuck under the print head. Pull the paper out gently through the bottom end of the printer(if any). Close the top plastic lid. Power On the printer and check.

If it doesn't work then power off the printer, wait 10 seconds and power it back on. try once again to print. If it doesn't work then Open the Canon printer software. Click "Options" and then select the "Clean Print Heads" button.

How do i solve the cr motor problem of epson L110 printer?

CR motor is the carriage motor that moves the printhead side to side. ( as opposed to the PF motor that feeds the paper)

normally if you are have CR motor issues it is because of a piece of paper caught in the mechanism or a dirty or dry carriage rail.

move the carriage from side to side and see if you get a full range of movement. where is stops is where the paper is caught

to clean the carriage rail,
then just wipe all the old sticky grease and oil off the carriage rail and apply new lubricant.. epson have a special grease for their techs to use, but WD40 or silicone spray will work just fine.

Paper will not feed, goes in crooked. gets caught on right side

When the paper does not feed straight, dirty or stickyrollers can cause it to jamb or crinkle, also failure to remove all traces ofpaper from a previous paper jamb will cause further paper jambs.
Check for tiny pieces of at the edges of the rollers, and remove these piecesof paper.
Try cleaning the rollers with methylated spirits

The printer keeps saying that there is a paper jam when there is not.. Also some times when it trys to print it will jam and the page will be torn down the middle.

Check the machine carefully, sometins a small sliver of paper is caught in a critical place in the printer and will give the paper jam message. If you paper is being torn it is most likely due to an uneven feed caused by feed wheels that are slipping on one side while the other side still feeds normally. Clean all the feed wheels in the paper path with a Q tip soaked in Isopropil Alcohol. Also make sure that your paper guides are set to the correct widths.

The paper is not feeding through. it is getting caught on one side, then jamming

the roller on one side isn't picking the paper while the one on the other side is. Hwnce the uneven pull on the paper force the paper sideways and then jams.

This is usually caused by dust in the interior of the printer so try this:-

This is sort of scenario could be caused by dust inside the printer. Dust prevents the rollers from having a firm grip on the paper while picking paper. When one roller has a firm grip and rolls the paper well while the other doesn’t, jam/crumpling results. So I will suggest you get a long handle brush and try to reach as far inside the printer as possible and brush (from the back and front; if you have a blower please use it as well). This, if properly done should do it. Brush especially the rollers etc.

It says out of paper "p" when there are lots of paper. And sometime it gets caught does not get fed. It's short of being jammed. If I open and close the paper tray a few time, it does the trick. what might...

Pull out the paper feed tray and (using a flashlight to look into the machine) clean the halfmoon feed rollers with rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball. The rollers are on the right side at the top where the paper tray fits in. If alcohol doesn't do the trick, try naptha (lighter fluid), if no success...replace the feed tires....just a thought. Let me know please...Tim
PS...if it doesn't feed paper far enough, it thinks there is no paper or a jam.

The duplexing option is not working. it will print on the one side, but as it is pulling the sheet back in, it will get stopped up and the rollers will spin until it errors out. it appears to be getting...

Firstly, it may not be the machine. It is possible that your paper is damp and once the machine has printed on one side the texture of the paper changes causing the machine to struggle when feeding it through the duplex unit. Other wise the plate at the back will have rollers above it feeding the paper that may well be dirty causing it to fail when feeding. Check for obstrux=ctions and clean any roller you can find in the duplex unit.

Cannon Pixma MP500- I get a solid black line on the reverse side of a printed page. Went through all the cleaning procedures and new cartridge, no change.

For some reason, the printer is designed to dump ink into the bottom of the tray before feeding on the paper. The paper is then dragged over the ink, leaving the black line. This is a software issue, not a hardware one. I'd advise that you update all of your print drivers, as well as your firmware.

A temporary fix is to clean the rollers and base plate of the printer for ink spills.

Check for any bits of paper or debris that may be caught in the printer. Be careful to feed in the paper perfectly straight, as this printer does not have good rollers, and it will cause paper to break off and cause problems. If any debris has caught or absorbed ink, it will cause the back of the paper to smudge, and you have black lines.

FAX GETS CAUGHT ON ONE SIDE AS COMING OUT

sounds like you need a new fusing unit or at least the upper fuser roller replaced.

Paper will not feed correctly, keeps jamming up.

There IS something stuck in the feed path. If the paper starts to feed and then crinkles on the feed side, there is an object stopping the paper moving forward.

Lay the machine on it's back and take a sheet of very stiff card (A5 size approx) and push it through the paper path in reverse. So start where the paper would normally exit and push the card in. You may need to lift the pinch rollers just behind the print head by hand to aid the card through. Keep the card to the side that would normally crinkle but beware of the paper sensor flag. If you force it you could break it off.

Once you get past the pinch rollers behind the print head, push a little further then start to move the card in and out but along the length of the rollers. You should find that sufficient to push out whatever is in the path and having the machine on it's back will help it fall clear of the feed mechanism.

If it does not fall out using this method you will have to remove the covers and try to remove the ASF to get at the object.
