Turn off silent mode on samsung sch-u520 - Cell Phones

keep press # button for 3 or four seconds to romve silent

Hold down # key

hold the # key for 5 seconds to enter or exit silent mode.

Try to replace the battery with a new one and check if it turn on.

My Samsung Link SCH-r351 has a "Silent Mode". It took me about a day to figure this out.

To toggle *Silent Mode* on or off, press and hold the "Fn" key.

To place the handset in Silent / Vibrate Mode
Step 1
To place the handset in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode, hold down the pound key (#) for about 2 seconds. To exit Silent / Vibrate Mode, perform the same action while in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode. You will see a confirmation message for Silent / Vibrate Only Mode, each time you enter or exit Silent / Vibrate Mode.
The SCH-U470 (Juke) handset will vibrate rather than ring when you receive a phone call, message or alert while in Silent Vibrate Only Mode.
Step 2
While in standby mode, press the volume key, located on the left side of the handset, then select either “Vibrate Only", “Alarm Only” or “All Sounds Off”. To disable perform the same action while in Silent / Vibrate Mode.
The SCH-U470 (Juke) handset will vibrate rather than ring when you receive a phone call, message or alert while in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode.

check the charger , it is changing, change the battery it migh be bad

FIRSTLY U MUST CHECK WEATHER THE PROBLEM IS IN YOUR PHONE AUR IN THE SIMCARD CONNECTION.YOU SHOULD TRY THE SIMCARD OF SOME OTHER COMPANY ALSO,SO THAT IT CAN BE CONFIRMED THAT WHERE IS THE PROBLEM.........AND IF YOU ARE SURE THAT THE PROBLEM IS IN PHONE THEN;  1.TRY TO ACCESS THE NETWORK CONNECTIONS AND SEARCH ALL THE AVAILABLE CONNECTIONS. 2.REMOVE THE BATTERIES AND THE SIMCARD AND RESTART THE PHONE AGAIN.

i just called tech support..hold the # key to turn silent mode on and off

I have a 540, and to take it off silent mode all I have to do is hold down the # key for a few seconds. Look for a picture on the key that looks like a vibrating phone...
