Still reads "parts inside your printer are at the end of their life"
printer parts reached the end of their life
Its about the ink pads being soaked with ink, that is the part that actually reached the end of its service life, try to check website for epson and search for ink pad reset utility if they support it, then read the FAQ's for info.
Are you in Uk or US?
Get a new printer...it will probably be cheaper and easier than trying to fix it
hope this helps

This usually means that the waste ink absorbers are full. If your printer is under warranty, you can get them dealt with and the counter reset at an Epson Customer Care center. If your printer is out of warranty, you should consider if it is worth the fix. You can get this done by Epson or an independent printer repair person. (They might sell the parts for a dyi job.)
Once that is done, you can get a reset utility from the following URL: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/InkPadsForm.jsp . If you execute the reset without the pad replacement, you will get ink smearing on your documents after a while.
I hope this helps.
