I suspect you have not plugged them back into the correct socket. The plug is coloured green and therefore should go back into the green socket. you have probably plugged it back into the blue or pink sockets. Use a torch to check that is in the green one.

Ive had them for awhile and the plug fell out and i plugged it back in and no sound coming out of them atall.. I think i blew a fuse in the bassbox or something.. please assist me:)

Madick123
It is, a resistor on bass board, or, hopefully, a fuse, better to fix out, try to open "carefully" the bass box and see if has any fuse. if not, use RMS, or warranty, if available, other than this, is better buy other model.

Motherboard sound issues

Hi antlob,
Normally one would think something is wrong but if you look at page 2-23 in you're manual you'll see you're using the wrong plug-in (Lime green) (Rear). Plug you're spreaker jack into the
(Black sound out jack). See if that makes a differance?
To fine tune you're sound you can open Asus/RealTek sound effect manager listed in control manager. This program has connector sensing software & other goodies.

Enjoy!

Garbled sound

Your Codec is damaged. Reload your drivers for your sound card. First uninstall the old ones. Moving your non working speakers and they play fine says they are good. I have a problem that you have new speakers and the problem went away. Drivers do not care what speakers are on the other end. It only produces output. Now that your second pair is working correctly, put back the Harmons and see if the problem comes back
