Green screen After ready my dreams problems I replaced my HV splitter. Know I have a green screen. I didn't have any screen before. From the back of the TV I can see a blue reflection on the left and a red on the right. Looking from the front I see the three boards under the projectors the green (center) projector has a green led lit on it, but both the blue (right) and red (left)projector boards do not. What should i do????

If the lines you see are retrace lines, It means that the 200VDC are missing and not getting all the way to the video amplifier assemblies.
Did you touch the screen control settings by any chance before you replace the HV splitter?

I have a RCA D52W20 52" HDTV Ready TV which I

Unplug High voltage lead from HV splitter. This is a red wire going from HV transformer to similar (white plastic) device located up front, between picture tubes. Disconnect the one which is coming in, by strong energetic pull down with pliers. Leave those which go to picture tubs in. Make sure that disconnected wire is far from other components or metal parts (high voltage - SEVERAL INCHES SPARK CAN OCCUR) Turn the unit on - if different than 3 blinks - the splitter is your problem.

Turns on for 30 sec then goes bright blue and goes back into standby. turn back on it does it agian

This is blue CRT problem in tv as it is rear projection tv that has three CRTs red-green-blue inside to project color picture on front screen.
Blue CRT (tube) will be replaced to fix the issue and it is job of Pro because lots of adjustments are required after replacement of tube.
Local tv repair shop will help you for that.
Thanks

ProScan wont turn on

PS52690 52" projection TV (CTC188 series) that won't power up. From what I have read here and other places, the most common cause of this is the HV splitter. Actually, when the unit was 3 years old, the HV splitter went out and had to be replaced but it was under warranty at the time. I have found that the part I need is 205064 and runs around $40-$70
A post in another thread said that you could test to see if the HV splitter is really the problem by disconnecting the HV anode (big red wire) from the flyback (not the splitter since that will arc), plug the TV in, power it up, and if the power stays on and you hear sound, replace the HV splitter to fix the problem.
