Well i dont really know but when i star over the cam the screen is black and it doesn't appear nothing so just a leyend that says access when I take off the memory stick said turn on again the camera just that nothings more happen i cant take care piks

Looks like a CCD image sensor failure a common fault in digicams these days. Point the camera somewhere and blindly take a shot. Open the image on your computer and see if it appears all dark. If it does then its an image sensor failure. On the contrary if the image appears properly then your LCD screen is the culprit.

Gateway MD2614u, froze at start up when restart was attempted nothing appeared but a black screen. It will not restart. I have tried the battery/power reset, vacuum any dust and hooked up to another...

Actually this is a hard drive fault most likely, or a faulty had drive. If you don't have a recovery disk you are going to have to start the machine and try to do a recovery to boot repair. You can usually access this with F10 or F12, not really sure on a gateway.

Black and white screen ,when on recording mode

i am not sure that i solved that problem but last night i was trying to solve this problem , there was a lamp close to me . i focus the lam and zoom in and zoom out the handy cam. i was wonder that it works great. but i am still not satisfied because i dont know what is the problem ? and it can be happpened again.
