When am connected to yahoo messenger.i ask people if they are able to see my cam but they say there is nothing.i once logged onto yahoo support site and i was able to see myself through the webcam.how can i overcome this problem.

1st You download Webcam Driver.

After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install. Veo Camera Drivers for Windows XP Vista Windows 7

first make sure your web cam is perfectly ok.
open yahoo messenger login your account
click messenger menu then click view webcam
then a window will open a warning message check donot show again then ok
then choose you internet connection choose broadband
then it will open a window with your webcam.
if you want your friends to view your webcam
just chat with them, and in action menu click invite to view my webcam.
you can see in your webcam window how many viewers you have and if you are broadcasting.
Webcam not Connected ( to your Messenger ) can usually be overcome by setting your Messenger Internet Connection
MESSENGER INTERNET CONNECTION
Open messenger - on top toolbar. Left click ( > ) Messenger > Preferences > Connection - Select 'No proxies' or 'Connect direct to the internet' depending on the version of messenger you have make sure your internet connection and country are correct in the lower two boxes, If not change them > Apply > OK
Yes there is way to control who will view your cam. Follow this steps. 1. Go to Messenger 2. Click on Preferences 3. Select Webcam, Then select "Always ask for my permission"
Well, it's very easy for you to use a web camera. First you have to
decide how do you want to use it.. means you can use it for video
chatting through Paltalk, Yahoo messenger, MSN messenger, Skype etc.
For video chat you will need to install it in your PC.
To install first connect the web cam with PC. Insert the installation
CD in CD/DVD-ROM, run Setup.exe and install it. Once setup is
successfully completed you may need to restart the PC.
Now open and sign in your chat client (MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger,
Gtalk messenger, AOL etc.) For example: If you want to start share your
web cam in Yahoo messenger, just Login with your ID and password....click on Messenger choose option My Webcam.One warning message will appear...click OK....your webcam will start....Now if you want to invite someone to view your webcam, simply click on his/her ID and open IM window....click on Actions, choose More Actions from down of the list....and click on Invite to view my webcam....if he/she accepts your invitation...he/she will able to see you....again if you want to see someone who having Webcam....open the IM window by clicking his/her ID.... follow option Actions > More Actions and click on View webcam....yahoo will send the request to him/her...if he/she accept your request....you will able to see him/her....
For MSN messenger....sign in to your messenger and click on Actions and from list choose option Video and click on Show my webcam to view your webcam to others from your contact list.....or click on Start a video call to start video chat.....
To see others webcam click on View a contact's webcam....if the person accept your webcam....you will able to see his/her webcam....
Same to other chat client too...just little different in options....

can u be plz bit more clear wid ur query? as far as yahoo or any other IM is concerned the person who is having a webcam has to invite u and allow or give permission to u, inorder to view his/her cam.Unless and untill u wont be able to view a webcam without their permission

Messenger and select "Start My Webcam." 2. Click the "Messenger" menu in Yahoo! Messenger and select "Preferences." 3. Click the "Webcam" category. 4. Click the "Camera Source" button. 5. Click the pull-down menu and select the desired camera. 6. Click the "OK" button. If you see a black screen when viewing a friend's webcam: Check the status message at the bottom of your viewer window. If it says "Stopped," the person broadcasting has stopped broadcasting images. Ask the person to resume broadcasting and try viewing again. If the person is in fact broadcasting and you still see a black screen in your viewer, ask them to check their camera and take the webcam compatibility test.
can't get my webcam for others to see i can but they can't what's wrong
