My nokia n95 switches itself off

I've had a Nokia 95 for about 7months now and it's switching itself off even though the battery is fully charged, I've asked a few people and they say it needs some kind of software patch. any ideas?

Do a search for the V21.0.0.16 firmware if it's an N95 N-1 model.

Follow the instructions to the letter for upgrading, it should resolve this issue.

When a nokia n95 switches off and on, all you have to do is put a sim that doesnt work anymore then you have to switch the n95 on and wait for 30 minutes, then the n95 will stop from on and off, the laguage will be set to france mode..

better you go to nokia service center make a good check up or try by replacing with nokia s original battery and charge for it continusly for upto 6 hrous with out switch on the phone ..... try it

This is an old problem of Nokia 5310, sometimes, this phone will just automatically switch off. Please try this one:

1. Remove the battery of the phone and leave it for about 2 minutes.
2. Insert the battery and try to turn the phone on.
3. If you will get the same problem, you need to bring it to the authorized Nokia Care Center for firmware upgrade or repair.

NOTE: If the phone is under warranty, it should be free of charge.

Nokia N95 don't switch on.
Only Hope you have is to take it to a Nokia service center, they will probably charge you for the repair as it is a none warranty fault and any data that was stored on the fone will be lost. Go to the Nokia web site to find your nearest service center

Dead n95 while upgrading same problem
when you were upgrading the phone i hope you checked compatability and had a fully charged battery as this can cause the glitch you are describing. tthe only solution is for the phone to be flashed using a nokia flasher. i do provide that service if you cant get someone locally to this. my personal email [email protected]

Phone gets handed as soon as it is switched on
you need to reflash it either at a nokia service centre or another way not sure how but on a nokia n70 it can be done with phoenix and the dead phone usb flashing option.
