My boyfriend has this gps and it froze up on him around the time that the clocks went back what can I do

Try sending it back to Magellan or go to Magellans Website www.magellan.com and download their updates. You will first need to download Magellans software - then hook your gps to the pc with the usb cord.
One other thing - try a wall charger for 48 hours. I have seen this work.

I am having a little trouble understanding your question. If you sent your recalled nuvi in for service and got a defective replacement you will have to contact garmin and inform the of the situation. If you are at the most current firmware and are still having issues it is a hardware problem.

There are 6 screens in the "Change Preferences" menu.
"Set clock" is the 1st item on page 6. (As is the "Reset factory settings" option for problems that seem insurmountable :o)

Xbox 360 is freezing with no red rings and an intercooler?

The freeze ups normally happen before the red lights of doom and they are caused by the GPU and the CPU getting too hot and the soldering snaps off so they lose connection.

If you stop the heat build up you will be fine.

You can do this yourself using a good repair guide or you can send it in and they will fix it for you.

As long as you stop most of the heat getting to the GPU and the CPU you will be fine.

I downloaded the 2.20 version for my RoadMate, oh no!!!

Same thing happened to me. I downloaded the 2.20 update and it will not let me boot up the unit. It will not get past the spinning clock. I needed to go on a trip this weekend and have to use my cell phone as my gps. What a big let down.

Went to the change voice and it froze then wont do anything got it turned on then it was being really slow with the other direction ie..turn right go to turn right and it says turn around

do a reset, refer to the user manual for location of the hole you put a paper clip in to reset unit to factory settings, that should allow you to try again.

I have a Navigon 7100 so this might not work..
1) try to do a factory reset

2) call navigon they might have a master reset code to over-ride the password lock

3) DUMP boyfriend!!

Garmin street pilot c330

You have to pry off the silver-colored faceplate from the unit and you will find a reset button on the right side of the screen. Push this and everything will back to normal.

Sportrak-is it dead!

left gps switched on all day and ran battery down. installed new battery and unit aquired position as normal. clock was normal and speed was nil. panic over.
answer: need to switch gps on often.
