Yes it is possible but confirm that your motherboard will able to support AMD Athlon X2 7850 if it won't then you need to upgrade the Motherboard too.

have you tried removing all other hardware like your graphics card and all other peripheral cards even memory and booting to see and eliminate all other components?

Your SLI drivers as you mentioned were installed when your chipset drivers were installed. (NVIDIA nForce CK804 Chipset Driver).
If you use 1 PCI-E graphics card the bios will need to be adjusted to [Auto].
Using 2 PCI-E graphics cards you must install the EZ selector card correctly. See page 4-20 section 4.4 Adjust; SLI Configuration. Than see section 4.4.6 in your manual

This may seem a bit tricky but its not. First time around the bios settings using SLI graphics cards will appears tough but you'll get it.

In my experience, there are some fans that are loud. It could be bad bushings or possibly a fan that is out of balance. The Cool and Quiet utility will not solve that problem.
Are you sure it's the CPU fan?
If the computer (or it's parts) are less than a year old, they should be under warranty.
If it's the case fan, I'd replace it with either a new single-speed fan or one that has a variable speed adjustment.

could be that the drivers are not correct for the monitor/videocard that you have set up. have you tried downloading some newer ones from your monitors manufacturer?

This maybe nothing but the first thing I checked is the CPU.

The first supported 64 X2 is;
Athlon 64 X2 3600+ (CU),512K,65W,rev.F2,SocketAM2
Second CPU supported;
Athlon 64 X2 3600+ (DD),1MB,65W,rev.G,SocketAM2

The CPU that you are using is not supported.
Since this is a new CPU, you might be able to exchange it for the Athlon 64 X2 3600+ (CU),512K,65W,rev.F2,SocketAM2.
