My router will not allow me to connect to the internet. I have tried to reset the router and unplug it for 10 seconds but still no connection. the four Local Network lights come on, blink rapidly for three seconds then cut off. They lights do that continuously. They WLAN light jus blinks every second. What should I do? The internet was working perfectly fine until late last night

Forgot my access code to connect to the wireless router

You need to Hard Reset the Router :

On the back of your router there is a little black reset button. Use a pen or paper clip and press down for 10 seconds. Make sure the lights on the router stop blinking for one second. Release the button and make sure to reset your wireless security and network ID.

If that doesn't work just unplug your routers power cord. This is the easiest way to reset your internet connection without resetting your router to factory settings.

If neither of those work, unplug the power cord of your modem. This will completely reset the internet connection without resetting the routers settings.

There's no output signal on my router when i connect my modem to it and the out is to my PC, it says no network connection

Connect the Cable modem to the router's Internet/WAN port, then connect the PC to any one of the router's ports.
Reset the D-Link router:
D-Link Router reset
Step 1 Locate the reset pinhole on the back of the unit.
Step 2 With the unit powered on, press and hold the Reset button.
Step 3 Hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds.
Step 4 Release the Reset button.
Step 5 The unit will reboot. Allow 20-30 seconds before reconnecting.
Step 6 The device is now at factory defaults.
Note: Do not recycle power during the reset procedure. The default user name for most D-Link devices is admin and the password is left blank.
When it says hold for about 10 seconds, don't hold for more than ten seconds or the procedure will likely fail, if ten seconds doesn't work try 5 seconds. Then:

Shutdown your PC. Unplug the power from the router and the cable modem.
Wait 30 sec. then plug in the power to the cable modem, wait 30 sec. then plug the power to the router. Wait till you have "Internet" light then restart your PC. The PC should pick up an IP address and you should be able to get on-line. This is if you have a cable service provider. If you have DSL, the router needs to be configured with PPOe.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

I plugged it in and followed the wizard instructions

Did you try to go to different web sites ? If not try that. Also try and clean out your internet cache by deleting temp files and cookies, close your browser and re-launch it. Run your anti-virus and spywares.

if that doesn't work try this;

Reset your modem and router. Unplug the power to your modem then unplug the power to your router, wait for 10 seconds or so and plug the modem first, wait for the led lights to become solid, then plug in the power to the router.

please let me know what happens....

You may have to unplug the power your modem and wait 20 seconds before you plug it back in. This will refresh the DNS information.

Type in from internet explorer http://192.168.0.1.
