I need an owners manual for a Craftsman Router model 315.17491.

Apparently AMT is no longer in business. There may be a similar Craftsman model in case a manual can be located for it, but link below suggests they did not locate manuals.

You can buy another one for $25.00--$300.00 on eBay. I had the same model once, did not last very long and the parts were more than the thing was worth. I tossed it and bought a Dewalt and there is no comparison the Dewalt quality exceeds the craftsman, has more power and runs smoothly. I do not buy any tool made in china.

go to vintagemachinery.org i got the router new at sears in 1980 and it still works great

Sears does a horrible job of getting this info out, but here's a link to their site with all the manuals for Craftsman power tools.

Enter the entire model number and search. If that does not come up, just enter the 5-digit number - often the last 5 digits.

For exampel - I have a Craftsman router, model# 135.17508. That returned no solution, but when I just entered 17508, the manual came up.
