I tried installing Age Of Empires 3 on my macbook pro OSX. When the installation was almost done it came up with an Error Code 36 and then quit the installation.
Hello,
Make sure you don't have the hardware hooked up or have any programs or windows open, until you know that the software has installed correctly!
Insert your disk, Restart your computer! If upon restarting your computer does not detect the new software, than...
Go to Start, Control Panel, Install New Software! Restart again!
You may need to update your driver? If so...first I would create a back up on a disk or flash drive (cruzer) just to be safe!
To update the driver, you will need the software disk inserted, so you know which disk drive you need to update,.. Go to Start, Computer, Right click on the drive that shows the disk, select properties, select up-date driver.
Also,. FYI...Some Software programs require you to disable your virus protection, firewall, defender, to be able to install, whether or not, but especially if they are password proptected!
Try disabling your virus protection and select untill you restart, Go to Start, Control Panel, Firewall, or type in the search box...disable virus protection.
Try this and let me know if you need further assistance?
Kind regards!
