Owner/user manual Before my sister died she gave me the little grren machine model 1425 turbo brush with heat. That is all I know about it as she did not find the manual and now no one knows where it is and I really want to get it working and learn about it, as I know she loved it. so I really need a manual. thank any one that can tell me if it is on line or something.

I suspect that the belt has broken.

water too hard causes calcium deposits. you can buy softener pellets for steam machines. using battery (demin) water will help prevent it

This may be a little newer model, however this instructions and use of this machine will be identical to the one that you have. They really have changed anything on their machines other then the looks of them for a decades.

You can find instructions for your Bissell 1425 Little Green ProHeat at www.bissell.com and then go under products by category and then scoll down to where it says Deep Cleaners. Then click on compact cleaners and it will take you over to where your version is and on the left hand side click on the model Little Green ProHeat. when that opens up on the right hand side look to where it says downloads and you will see where it says User Guide and its in (PDF) format.
