SOURCE: Indesit dishwasher.

It sounds like the anti flood switch is activated, lean the dishwasher back at a 45 degree angle. If water comes out the back you have a leak. Stand it up and try it try dishwasher, if it works this comfirms leak, you will need to find where it is coming from.

SOURCE: no power

Check the wiring connection. The merrets can come loose and you then loose power. Turn off power first, if this is the case, make sure you tape them up.

SOURCE: Westinghouse SB907 - Water draining out right after filling up

The drain hose has to have a loop in it. In other words as the drain hose exits the dishwasher, it must go up at least 18 inches before it goes down into the drain. If not, the water will siphon out of the machine.

SOURCE: water does not fill .

chances are, your water switch is stuck..
its the thing inside the dishwashe that kinda looks like a plastic mushroom.. (its a float)
sometimes they get corroded with excess detergent.. wiggle that up and down some to free up the float and it just might fix your problem.

Dishwashers wont stop.

By unplugging the machine, and temporarily stopping the drain from operating, you have diagnosed that the issue is electrical and not mechanical. If it were a mechanical issue (something stuck in the drain, thus keeping it open) it would continue to do so, even when the power is disconnected. It sounds as though you may have an issue with your timer, which tells it when to advance to each cycle. It depends on your make/model of machine. I've worked on some machines that have a cam style, and if the notches are damaged, it will not advance properly.

Dishwasher keeps coming on and then turing off during all cycles, what could it be

I am slightly unclear about the problem.

What do you mean by coming on and turning off during all cycles.

Does the dishwasher turn itself on even when it is turned off?

If coming on means the drain pump starts as soon as you select a program cycle then most likely the flood switch is activated which causes the pump to start to make sure there is no water left inside the dishwasher. You will have to find the location of the flood switch and dry it out. make sure power is turned off when you are working on the dishwasher components.

If this solves the problem there you also need to find out what is the source of the water leak.

PUMP WILL NOT STOP WHEN YOU PUT POWER ON . PUMP STARTS AS SOON AS YOU PUT THE POWER ON TO PICK A WASH PROGRAM EVEN BEFORE THE DOOR HAS BEEN CLOSED.

I have seen this on my unit. There was water in the drip pan under the dishwasher. Water in the drip pan comes from a leak. In my case, the water valve was getting so old that it was letting too much water into the unit when it was trying to fill. This cause the filling station to over flow into the drip pan.
A quick fix - I removed the water from the drip pan under the unit and I was able to turn down on the supply valve in the basement to limit how much water could come in. This allowed the unit to run without overflowing. I will replace the water valve soon.

Other possibilities, the float device used to detect too much water in the drip pan or too much water in the unit is stuck in the too full position. Or the pump out pump is stuck and not moving water.

Won't drain

The drian could be plugged or the pump could have an obstruction. Did you just install a garbage disposer? If you did you may need to knock out the plug in the disposer. Hope this helps

Make sure there's power getting to the dishwasher. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the dishwasher (inside the junction box, behind the bottom kick panel), if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.
