Ice maker not making ice

The water valve on the back of the refrigerator is bad, one controls water for the ice maker and one controls water for door water

The water dispenser control is only part of the dual water control valve. If water did not refill the empty ice maker tray after dropping ice into the ice bin the=> 67006322 Water Inlet Valve will need to be replaced. Let me know should you have questions, Thanks Sea Breeze

It can be faulty compressor or issue with defrost.

HI.TERRY.freezer has to work at its optimum.for the ice maker to work. i would try to defrost the freezer completely first and try.good luck.Ali

Check there's water coming through and circulating

I took the arm of the ice-making machine out of the slot and put it back in, pushing it snugly inside the slot, then raised and lowered it several times. Then, with the arm in the up (stop making ice) position, I felt inside the ice-making tray, where I noted there were ice cubes as well as a sheet of ice at the base of the ice-making tray. I poured approximately 24 oz. of hot tap water into the tray to melt the sheet of ice. I turned the freezer temp control to "warmer". I think the freezer temp setting was too cold, causing the ice maker to freeze the water before it could make cubes. I have a working ice maker again!

It sounds like your refrigerant was leaking out. There may be some settled at the bottom that would explain the frozen water on the bottom. a good appliance store should be able to find the leak fix it and add more refrigerant.

1) Electric Water valve check up.
2) Water/Ice dispenser control check up
3) frozen plastic pipe inside door or/and chilled water container frozen
4) old water filter (clogged)

CHANGE THE FREEZER TEMP TO -2 AND THE REFRIGERATOR TEMP TO 44 AND IT WILL START MAKING ICE AGAIN
