How do I get my alarm system to chirp instead of beep when it goes off or when I lock my doors with the remote entry key fob?

Check to see if your vehicle honks when you press the "lock" button on your key fob. Press the "lock" button multiple times in a row. Many devices won't beep unless you double-tap the button after locking. If the horn doesn't honk, but the lights flash, your chirp feature is probably disabled.

Use your keyless fob and ignition key to enable the audible chirp. The process varies considerably on different makes and models. You must usually consult your owner's manual, a dealership or the alarm manufacturer for the correct process.

How do you set the time on a Zenith Z1233ba

March 5, 2015.
I'm selling these Zenith Z1233BA Clock Radios
on ebay. I have sold about 10 without any problems, but someone just ask if I know where the get the instructions. I could not find the manual online.
Here are some of the basic.
To set the time set the lock button on the bottom to off, press the clock button, the clock will flash then use the set buttons on top to change the time. Use the <> to change the time, when the time is set press and hold the enter button until you hear a beep. You have to cycle through all the minutes to get to the next hour. Do the same to set the zone. And to set the Date select the CAL button and do the same as setting the time. Put it back on lock when the time, date and zone are set.

To set the Alarm press the Alarm Set button then use the set buttons on top change the Alarm time. Use the <> to change the Alarm time, when the Alarm time is set press and hold enter until you hear a beep. Press the Alarm On/Off button to select radio or buzzer for the alarm or alarm off. To set the PRESETS tune the radio to the station you want to be a PRESET, then press and hold a PRESET button until you hear a beep.

Re; 1996 V/W Jetta Alarm system won't shut off . Happened to hit the door lock button when the car was running and it triggered the alarm. Tried everything with the key in the driver's door and it will...

Disconnecting the car battery will reset the alarm system. When you first connect the car battery, the alarm will sound briefly, then stop. You will have to retrain the alarm system to recognize your remotes. The procedure for that varies from one year model to the other. On my 1998 you do it by putting the key in the door lock and holding it full counterclockwise until you hear a brief beep from the alarm horn. Then press a button on your remote and the system will learn to recognize that remote.

Hello, my name is Israel. Your alarm should have an LED light. Check to see if it is on. According to your description, you valet is on. You will need to find a button that is for the alarm, usually located somewhere under the dash. Once you find this button, you will need to turn the ignition to the on position, within 5 seconds, press the valet button once. This should turn off the LED and the alarm should be ready to work again. Good Luck. Please rate.
