Its normal for the door not to open with water in the machine this is a safety feature the door will not open immediately after the wash cycle completes their is a delay before it can be opened.
There should be a LOCK ICON with an LED to tell you whether the Front Load door is locked or unlocked.
If the machine door wont open after the wash cycle, the dryer function or the drainage function hasnt completed.
What you can try is just choose the dryer function after the completed wash cycle if the problem arises again.
IF that doesnt work, then look at bottom of the machine; there should be a flap present which you generally open up to get to the manual drainage valve.. you just pull that open and drain any leftover water .. After the water recedes.. the LOCK icon should be off and you can then open the front load door
Hi, Make sure you are allowing the washer to completely finish its cycle before opening the door. It is normal for the door to lock at the end of a cycle. The locking mechanism keeps owners from opening the door before all of the water has been drained. If the door on the washer is locked, select the "Drain" or "Spin" options on the front-load washer. This will completely drain the water from the system and unlock the door, allowing you to open it. Thank you !!
you shouldnt be able to open door if there is water in it. sounds like your door interlock has burnt out and probably taken the main printed circuit board with it.
Check your instruction manual to see if there is a childlock feature that has been activated.
Is there water in the machine or has it completely rinsed out?
If you switch the power off and wait a couple of minutes, can you then open the door with the power still off?
