Does the EUB-362/362EXT/862 work with Windows Vista?
No,
the EUB-362/362EXT/862 Client Utility was written for use with Windows
2000/XP. Microsoft Windows Vista users must use the "Connect to a
Network" utility in Windows Vista.
you have to manually change it on the laptop...if xp go to control panel, network connections, right click on the wireless connection and go to properties. in there there is a network tab or wireless tab i cannot recall 100% as i switched to vista. in vista right click on your network icon in the task bar and select network and sharing center, from there click on manage wireless networks on the upper left hand side double click the one you want to change and click on the security tab and change the password.
Try resetting your wireless router frm the reset button on your router....After that goto -control panel-network connections-right click on wireless connection-click on repair
For vista OS; Here are some troubleshooting steps that I suggest you try:
1. Go to "Control Panel" ( switch it to classic view ) 2. Click " Network & Sharing Center" 3. At the left side of " Network & Sharing Center", click Manage Wireless Connection ( under task) 4. Delete the profiles of your Wireless connections particulary the one you named for your Netgear wireless ( this is also known as SSID). 5. Click close including "network & Sharing Center"
Connecting to a Wireless Network on Windows Vista:
a. Click Start then select Connect To. b. Connect to a network window will show up. c. Select your wireless network's name or SSID and click Connect. Since this is an unsecured wireless, Vista will warn you if you wanna connect anyways. Go ahead and connect.
From the above configuration, please check if you can now access the Internet.
1. check the in your pc wireless Lancard is enbled R not
2. it is not enable mean, first enble it.
3. Go to command promt, check the ip address by giving the command IPCONFIG
4. U can see the ip adress when it connected R it show media disconnected ie.Lan is disabled.
first is it compadable with windows vista?
if so , you might just need to search for the wireless network around you and connect to it.
you have to connect to a new network where ever you go .
is there a wireless router near to where you are?
if not then you will not get signal.
