I noticed I am not alone on this. I am in need of the metal inner can for the Sterling Ice Cream Maker I believe Model 165A. This was made by the Richmond Cedar Works Company. I could really use one. Thanks

Due to the need to have an insert that is a good conductor of heat I do not believe they make a non-aluminum insert.

I have used can from a unit I have that has a broken lid. Not rusted through but some spots. I will part out if interested. Motor still works.

You need to be sure that the bowl is locked in the ccling well, usually a lever in the front of the larger machienes does this. hope this helps

Richmond Cedarworks has folded. Rival/White Mountain do not have parts for the replacement of your canisters. Richmond has went under for bankrupcy or were bought out by some private sector. The parts offered by Rival/White Mountain are different sized for all of the Richmond products. As there are no parts available, anyone looking for parts should be directed to either commercial supply stores or stores that repair/rebuild old kitchen equipment.
