Can i use itunes to download music to my philips gogear vibe 4gb device?

itunes uses an M4A file format. You will have to download a file converter, then convert it to mp3. try www.cnet.com and search for audio converter. Lots of free software to choose from.

I cant downlaod itunes to my mp3

for phillips mp3 players, you need to use the software that came with them to upload music to your mp3 player. You can find the sofware to download at phillips website...

http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpproduct_selector.pl?slg=ENG&scy=GB&grp=PORTABLE_ENTERTAINMENT_GR&cat=PORTABLE_CD_MP3_PLAYERS_CA&sct=PORTABLE_CD_MP3_PLAYERS_SU

find your model in that list, and download the software, and you're good to go.

How/where to download movies

I have a Phillips go Gear myself. You need the media converter for phillips software for it. It takes any file and converts it to a Phillips specific file for your player. The disk came with my player but if you would like to download the software you can find it here: http://www.arcsoft.com/products/mediaconverter/

I can not download my songs

The GoGear SA 6045 is not compatible with iTunes. As iTunes moves toward DRM-free music, there are a few GoGear models that will work with it, but the SA6045 is not one of them. iTunes format is also known as AAC format. There are no GoGear's that are compatible with DRM-protected AAC format, but a few are compatible with DRM-free AAC's. Sorry.

You will have to find songs that are in Mp3 format from a different music service (or from CD).

Can't get itunes to download to my Phillips GO GEAR MP3

Your formating for your songs are fine. The Phillps GoGear uses mpeg as well as long as they are not AAC formating. You need to open Windows Media Player and click on the Library tab and then Add to Library. I'd recommend using the advanced tab when the window pops up. You can then tell WMP exactally where the songs are at in the itunes folder. You'll want to find out where they are at first. It should load them onto WMP from there and then you can move them to you GoGear. Enjoy.

Download Problems

Two problems:
1) All GoGears are completely incompatible with iTunes, AAC format.
2) Most GoGears are completely incompatible with Mac's, even though the computer will recognize it and appear to transfer songs.

Sorry

How to move my music from itunes to my phillips go gear 4gb digital audio video player

Philips GoGear is NOT compatible with iTunes - sorry. You will have to convert those AAC files from iTunes to Mp3 format in order to load them onto the GoGear. Try using Media Monkey to convert them - not guaranteed to work, but worth a shot (and it's free). Sorry if the guy at the store told you something different, but they generally just guess/don't actually know the answer.
