Looks as if the tv is at fault, stuck in reset mode, call the shop where you purchased it and let them know the fault, they will send an engineer out to sort the problem.

Hello,
I believe there's a setting in your control panel > power options to change the settings of the brightness and contrast depending on the source of power. it is set there to change the brightness and contrast of the LCD on how it will change once you remove the ac adapter from the laptop.
Hope this helps!

Ican't qdjust the color on my Samsung LED screen

Follow the below mentioned steps :

1.Turn on the LED TV and let it warm up for 30 to 40 minutes before making any changes or adjustments.
2. Put on the lights that you would normally use when watching the TV. You want to create the same ambiance that would constitute normal watching conditions for you. Make sure there is no glare or reflection from other items in the room such as a mirror.
3.Open the menu on the screen of the LED TV with your remote control and find the options for adjusting the color, contrast and brightness. Menu options will vary by TV, but look for options that will say "Contrast," "Color" and "Brightness."
4.Start with the "Brightness" control. It would be best to have a DVD playing so that you can get a better idea of the control settings. Pause the picture at a place that you can see a variety of scenery, such as sky, mountains and people in the forefront. Adjust the "Brightness" by pressing the up and down arrows until you are happy with the picture. Press "Save" or "OK" to set the brightness at this level.
5.Repeat this with the "Contrast" and "Color" controls, remembering to save your settings. Look for the "Mode" setting. Press the arrow to get to "Normal" or "Movie/Cinema." Press that setting and save it.6.Turn off any settings that are titled "Flesh Tone Correction" or "Vivid Sports." These will make the colors unnatural, use up energy and damage the TV over time.

I just bought a new Panasonic TX-P46S2 46"plasma

Try some adjustments. Brite changes the level of bright and Picture changes contrast. Less contrast and less brightness to even things out may help, and you won't be driving the panel so hard, so It's life will be longer too.

Brightness keeps shifting on Samsung 46" 7 Series 750

I just purchased Samsung series 4 LCD TV yesterday. I had the same problem since my salesman was a kind of stupid. He set the 'Power save mode' to automatic. After fiddle with my TV for a while, I found the solution.
Just change the 'Power save mode' to off, low, normal or high. My LCD TV stopped shifting its brightness.
