My computer Hello, I don't really know what kind of computer that I have, it was given to me by my aunt and at ther time she had at&t internet and I have comcast internet service. The problem that I am having is that the screen pops up username and password. I cannot get into the internet or anything. The service is already hooked up and I can't use the computer. Open up Internet Explorer. Click on "Tools" at the top. Click "Internet Options". Click "Connections". In the white box on the left delete all the connections that you do not use.

Hi there, well your solution i really easy, backup everything you want to keep from your computer, such as photos, pics, files, docs etc.

Once you have done this, if you have a windows xp/ vista/ or operating system disc, then you can just format and re-install this yurself, and then you will end up with a freshly installed operating system on your machine, then you can do what you like with it, make up your own passwords and internet provider etc, with no hassle about those annoying popups.
