The soap door has a latch to open it. Pour some warm water on it with the machine door completely open to melt old soap around dispenser. Read instructions on door.

Hi,
There are three common problems that cause the Soap Dispenser or Cup not to
open. I have a tip that will explain these problems in detail....
Some washing machines, can flood water out of the soap dispenser when a hose
gets blocked (usually with un dissolved soap powder) .Water flooding out of the front of a
washing machine's soap dispenser can also be an indication of overfilling or a
partial pump blockage if it does it when spinning.
Black gunge in the top of the soap dispenser can cause water to
spray towards the front and leak. Take out the soap dispenser drawer and look at
the roof of the soap dispenser. If it's covered in black gunge, blocking some of
the water holes, it could be causing problems. In extreme cases you have to
replace the dispenser.
You have a water supply problem. If you don';t get enough water then the dishwasher pump cannot pumpit up high or strong enough to dissolve the soap[. Your water valve screen may be clogged.
Make sure that there is nothing blocking the soap door from opening fully when the dishwasher is shut. This happened to me and I also thought that the soap door was opening during the cycle when it actually only partially opened during the wash and then popped open fully when I opened the dishwasher at the end of the cycle. So some, but not all, of the soap was used.
is your soap door open when this happens if it is then make sure there's no water or other liquids in the dispenser from loading the washer one tablespoon of water in there will clump up the soap and it won't drop when it pops open
Dispenser may be bad. Push the hi-temp button , air -dry, hi-temp, air-dry in that order. All lights will lite up and this will do test cycle of all components. If soap disp opens then soap tab may be the issue. I have had intermittent dispenser issues and they are often hard to solve as other components may be at fault.
Clean the dispenser water hose ,stuck by liquid dried soup./ the hose going to washer was open during washing time so all soap loaded was gone /
During water refill if nothing water pass to soap dispenser the soap will remain intact / but in washing time all soap will directly washout dispose to drain hose without to clean clothes.
ok, either a spring, trigger prob, on the latch, or a electronic prob. ok so to see if the latch is ok (or not) look closely for soap residue and scum, that may be hindering the latch or spring under. use metho, and warm water to clean this part.
secondly go down to a white goods repair place and take your electrical component, button, lights its all one unit, simple unscrew it, i do think you will need a set of torque screws for that tho... anyhow ask the guy to get you a new or second hand one and install it. the timer will run, and the clip will release.
good luck!
