Question about Whirlpool 24 in. GU1200XT Built-in Dishwasher
It could be a motor with bad bearings. But to check you need to remove washer and take outside or in garage. Put machine on it's "back" and take pump apart and look for obstruction. If you are mechanically inclined this is EZ!

I certainly did not find this "EZ".
My son and I worked 3 hours wrestling the dishwasher into various positions to find all the hidden tabs and screws necessary to disconnect pump from sump, sump from washer, motor from sump, impeller from motor, and face seal from impeller all the while dodging the leftover bacteria colonies draining from respective drains, filters, and supplies.
The downloadable parts manual is not quite sufficient to show locations of everything. We found another manual that literally fell out after we dragged the washer, drain pipe, and power cord from the woodworking. I could not find that manual on-line. WITH that manual we had a chance even though it was hard to follow and not quite perfectly relevant. So, no. It is not "EZ".
But this entry on this webpage was GOLDEN. Our problem really was the face seal grunging up the motor bearings.
THANK YOU!
