Hi, my name is Cheri Torres and I am with DISH Network Customer Service. Each of our different models of remotes have a few different codes that it could work with. I will list here for you the best codes for the more popular models of remotes that we have as well as the instructions for addressing the remote to your VIZIO TV. 5.0, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 IR remotes - codes 627, 505, 506, 006, 457, 520.
4.0 and 4.4 IR/UHF remotes - codes 505, 627, 766, 864, 593.
6.0, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 IR/UHF remotes - codes 627, 505, 678, 458, 825, 758, 520, 766.
20.0 IR and 21.0 IR/UHF remotes - codes 505, 598, 627, 523, 520, 720.

Instructions for addressing the remote to the TV

1. Turn the Television On.
2. Press and hold the TV mode button until all the other mode buttons light up red.
   
3. Enter the three-digit code using the buttons on the number pad.
4. Press the pound(#) button once.
   Note: The LED will flash three times.
5. Test functionality with the TV.
6. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.

I need the code for memorex dvd player to program it to my dish network remote

I was reading through the questions posted here and wanted to see if I could be of assistance to you. :) We have a few different codes for each of our different IR remotes, so I will give you the remote codes that work the best for the most common remotes that we have. For the 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2 IR remotes the best codes are 627 and 659. For our 5.0, 5.2, 5.3, and 5.4 IR remotes the best codes for the Element TV are 627 and 902. Instructions for addressing your DISH remote to your TV

1. Turn the Television On.
2. Press and Hold the TV mode button for three seconds until all of the mode buttons light up. Once you release the TV button it should flash.
3. Enter the three-digit code using the buttons on the number pad.
4. Press the pound(#) button once. Note: The LED will flash three times.
5. Test functionality with the TV
6. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.

We're going to start by pressing and holding the TV button on the top of your remote until all mode button back lights come on, and then release. Use the number buttons to enter the codes for your Vizio TV; here are some of the codes we currently have: 505, 598, 627, 520, and 627. Press the pound (#) button to save the code in your remote. To check that the code works try several different functions on the remote to make sure it will properly operate the TV. Remember that some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, try the other codes listed for your Vizio TV until you find one that is compatible with it.
