Freezer is frosting and refrigerator is warm.

As far as your freezer frosting up, sounds like a door seal problem, run your fingers along the seam of the door seal, there should be no splits/holes in the seal.
As far as the refrigerator either there is a secondary fan motor, or there is a obstruction blocking the air movement, if the freezer has a bad seal, its suspect ice is still building up.

Freezer has light frost in bak and frig is not cooling properly

Sounds like it is not defrosting . Either the defrost timer, heater or thermostat. Leave the bottom door open for 24 hours and will probably work again for about a week till repaired.

Fridigaire top freezer has stopped cooling

It could be frosted up or the drain plugged which would cut off the air flow to refrig section. If you see any frost or ice anywhere empty the unit and let it set with doors open 24 hrs to thaw. Or take the inner panel out of the freezer to see where the blockage is. If the coil is completely frosted over you have a defrost problem and need to determine which component has failed

Left door open, closed next day, but only blowing cool air now

You will need to turn the unit off and let it completely unthaw. There is frost that builds up in the ducts and behind the panels when the door is left open that will cause the unit to not cool or circulate where needed.

REFRIG WILL NOT GET ANYTHING COLD

make sure there is no frost buildup behinde the freezer back panal and the ducts to the frig are clear. Leaving the door open will make a lot of frost and diminish the cooling capacity.

Refrigerator will not get cold, but freezer works

Make sure your fan is working ,its located behind the freezers back wall. If it is working the vent from the freezer down to the refrigerator may be blocked (usually with ice). With out a fan you have no circulation but your freezer may look likes its working,it may last 3 days. Also if you can move everything out unplug it turn it off w/ doors open untill all traces of ice are gone this will free up any clogged tubes. Good luck.

Zanussi Electrolux frost free fridge/freezer - freezer defrosting

My husband left the freezer door open a couple of months ago, causing ice to form. The loud rattling noise was the fan hitting the ice. The reason why the temperature started to rise but the noise stopped was because the fan had got stuck in a block of ice and was no longer working. Simple solution - defrost the freezer for 24 hours. Touch wood, it is all working fine now!

Fridge is warm, freezer works.

Sounds like a defrost problem. Check to see if there is any frost buildup in the back wall of the freezer. If so, it is not defrosting as it should.
  • possible causes:
  1. bad defrost timer
  2. bad defrost heater (in freezer)
  3. bad thermo switch in freezer
If you don’t know what these are then unplug the machine and let the ice melt in the freezer overnight with the door open. Then try it the next day, if is cooling fine then you need to have a service person replace one of the above items.

Frigidaire upright model #MFU20F3GW8- Food not freezing

Check and clean the air cooled condenser for dust and dirt. Check and make sure the fan in back, on the bottom behind a removable panel, is operating. After cleaning the condenser replace the panel.
Also you stated there is no frost anywhere. Did you check the back wall of the freezer for frost buildup. If not check it and if there is frost there your defrost system is not working and the frost has stopped air circulation.
