Now, The computer has run blistering speeds for a couple of months consistently. every now and then it doesnt want to start. It did show the numbers 39 on the board diagnostics which is "initialise DMAC". Then i managed to get it started and now it says AA "Uninstall POSTI NT 1Ch" which is {Uninstall POST INT 1Ch vector and INT09h vector. Deinitializes the ADM module.} Any help would be appreciated

Overclocking settings foxconn 662 7ma bios phoenix technologies version 6.00 chipset sis 662 intel celeron 331

there is no answer to that. no 2 CPUs on earth overclock the same amount nor way.
best is not OC< and learn to just compute and be happy?
old chips sets are 4GB max ram and useable to 3.2GB
the data sheet on your PC, for the north bridge tells you that
it PCI devices, or iGPU can steal RAM from main, to form up. vRAM
it even says the word steals. (intel pages)

find OC forum real and read. 1billion words to nowhere fast.
have fun with BSOD , endless. and random or hard worked hot.

Installing sodimm 2x2gb ram for acer aspire 5504wxmi will not boot but each 2gb installed seperately will boot. Why wont the BIOS recognise 4gb even before the OS could boot? is there a fix?

The motherboard chipset, and more specifically the Northbridge chip, will Not support 4GB of Ram memory.

The Acer Aspire 5500 series of Notebook PC's, (Which the Aspire 5504wxmi Notebook PC is one of the series), uses an Intel 910GL motherboard chipset,

The Intel 910GL motherboard chipset only supports 2GB of Ram Memory,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_intel_chipsets#9xx_Chipsets_and_3.2F4_Series_chipsets

Primer:
The motherboard chipset technology used in your Acer Aspire 5504wxmi Notebook PC, consists of a Northbridge chip, and a Southbridge chip.

[ Chip and Chipset are slang terms for I.C.
Integrated Circuit,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_circuit

The Northbridge chip is an Intel 82910GL {Part Number}
The Southbridge chip is an Intel 82801FB {Part Number} It is also referred to as ICH6.

Scroll the above page down towards the bottom, until you come to the heading -
Southbridge 9XX and 3/4 Series chipsets, for information on the Southbridge chip ]

The Northbridge chip handles the faster capabilities of a computer.
Processor, Ram Memory, and High-speed graphics.

{AGP and PCI-Express graphics technology are High-speed graphics.
A graphics card inserted into a PCI slot, or a graphics chipset using the PCI bus, is NOT high-speed graphics.
Integrated Graphics is Not High-speed graphics }

The Southbridge chip handles the slower capabilities of a computer.
Anything connected to the PCI bus, Integrated Graphics, IDE bus, SATA bus, USB bus, Ethernet, and Audio,

I invite you to reinstall the Ram Memory the Aspire worked with, go online, and download the tiny, free program - CPU-Z
This tiny program will tell you exactly what motherboard chipset is on the Aspire's motherboard.

This is information on CPU-Z, and shows you the GUI of CPU-Z,
(Graphics User Interface),

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CPU-Z

Click on the screenshot of CPU-Z on the upper right of the page. (Enlarges it)

CPU stands for Central Processing Unit. Another term used is Microprocessor, or Processor for short.
When you open CPU-Z it automatically opens to the CPU tab.

If you click on the Mainboard tab, you will find out in-depth information on your motherboard.
(Mainboard is proper speak for Motherboard)

CPU-Z homepage,

http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

CPU-Z download page for newest version,

http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/1.58-setup-en.exe

Need help in downloading, and installing CPU-Z, post in a Comment.
Also what the tabs are, and how to understand what you are looking at.

Regards,
joecoolvette

(If an online entity suggested an Acer Aspire 5504wxmi will support 4GB of Ram Memory, they are wrong.
Find out what exact motherboard chipset is on the motherboard. This will support my statement )

I have a G41T-AD motherboard i installed 4GB of RAM in it on wednesday and since then it keeps blue screening saying to check my hardware is there anything that i can do for this issue

Test the Ram dimms, one at a time. It sounds like you may have a bad module. Carefully reseat each one. And ground yourself to avoid static electricity.
