Headphones? I just purchased a van that has the Panasonic flip down monitor with DVD/SD player...but no headphones. I downloaded the operators manual, but cannot get any sound. Is there a way to route the sound through the van speakers?

Surf the FM radio setting by the decimal. sooner or later one will display the audio. mine is 98.1 or something.

You can get an RF adapter at any car stereo shop and route sound through the car speakers

Can/how do I get sound to play in factory dvd player (2002 Envoy) without using headphones?

If you have an active headphone jack, just plug in some PC speakers. I don't know how best to mount them or what kind of volume you'd get out of them but that would be quick, cheap, and easy.

Wireless infrared stereo headphone no sound

You do not need to tune anything. Both transmitter (in your DVD player) and headphone operate at the same frequency.

The only thing I could think of is to check your DVD player's menu to make sure the transmitter is activated. And make sure you maintain line of sight between headphone and transmitter.

But rather then me guessing since you did not provide the model numbers of your products, why don't you contact XO Vision's customer service as listed on their website: http://www.xovision.com/contactus.php

Good luck.

DVD sound

Go to your local radio Shack and get the tape adapter that you need. It's a cassette w/ a wire connected to it, you put that into your tape player then the cord/wire plugs into your DVD player and you'll hear the movie through your car stereo. I have one and that's what you need. Enjoy! :)

Honda Odyssey DVD player sound without the headphones

You can set the sound to play through the car's speakers. If you don't want it too loud in front, you can use the audio setting for the fader to just play in the rear.

How do you work the sound on the DVD player?

I have a 2005 with DVD - but do not have the wireless headphones. I use the AUX button on the front radio to switch between FM/AM/and the DVD Player. I do have headphones jacks in the roof console by the DVD player, but have never used them.
