You are wonderful! With the information you provided, my husband was able to fix the washer. He never knew about the pressure hose inside the washer case.

    Bravo!!!!!

Not the water hoses that connect to the water fausets of the house to the machine, it is a pressure hose that is inside the washer case, it connects to the switch that you select low medium and high water level, it then connects to the tub of the washer hope this helps

Washer will work in Rinse or Spin settings, but not any wash settings

If you are doing the normal procedures and the water elimination function is working, you have power to the circuit board and controls. The circuit board wash cycle section is independent and aligned with the timer circuit, thus the Wash Cycle Controller has failed. All of the functions or options are one the one board and a replacement board needs to be purchased and installed.

Maytag Atlantis Washer - no cold water

Check the solenoid valves. If it's connected to hard water, the minerals build up inside and won't let the internal plunger move.

Maytag top load washer model LAT9235AAe will only run when dial turned to final rinse position.

HI. this is a fairly simply fix here. the timer mechanism is damaged. The timer motor is not providing proper rotation, that is required for forward advancement of the cycle selected. It should be replace asap, if possible.

My Washer will work at all. It acts dead

a small run of these actually had an out of balance switch and fuse assembly that cut power to the machine if it went way out of balance ,check and see if yours has one and replace the fuse at first but you may have to replace the entire assembly

Maytag washer will not fill

If it wont fill properly it sound to me me like a preasure switch. Take the control panel off and look at the load size selector switch (preasure switch). This has a hose connecting it to the wash tub. Follow that hose back to see if it may have some kind of blockage in the line. If not you may need to replace the switch.

Washer only works by manually advancing the dial.

yes this sounds like a timer it sounds like it is getting stuck in the cycle. replace the timer and this will clear up the problem
