Man I feel for you..

You can have them repaired using a TV Repair guy but often it costs as much as a brand new tv. My daughter broke my $1,600 LCD. It would have cost $1,200 to fix.. so I just bought a new one. After that I picked up a TV screen protector called TV Armor http://www.tv-armor.com Its designed to protect the TV from damage. Now I dont have to worry anymore when she is playing near it. It works really well.

The LCD Screen is damaged beyond repair. Cost to replace TV is cheaper than repair.

Hello there. My son hit my 47 in flat screen LCD

The screen is the most expensive part of the whole TV, save money for new set.

How much damage with electrical short

I would have no idea of what your son did.

Normally, if you connect any standard type of device to the TV set there should not be any issue. Either the device and set would respond to each other or not.

I would believe the set was going to fail anyways, unless your son did something very much out of the ordinary...

42' Sanyo Flat Screen Tv

An lcd screen cannot be repaired, only replaced and for a cost around what the went for when new. You can try looking on ebay or craigslist for the same model and swap parts. Had it happen to me, it sucks. Also your home owners insurance should cover it. Sorry thats all the help I can be.

Cracked screen

You can have them repaired but, usually the cost of a new plasma panel exceeds the cost of replacing the set.

SONY MODEL KDF-E42A10

Sony model KDF-E4210 TV works fine for about 20-30 minutes on HMDI video 6. After that, the HD channels scramble (wavy video). I have swapped out and used the component cables and the same thing happens. Time Warner came out to check their box and all checks out.

Coincidentally, this started after I purchased a Wii and go back and forth from Video 2 (wii) to Video 6. Now is happens just on Video 6 after 20-30 minutes. Could this be an issue with the TV?
