Reddy Heater kerosene 110,000 btu . plup it in, fan runs, blows smoke out the front, leaks kerosene also from front, i have cleaned photo cell, replaced plug, cleaned filter and checked lines for cracks,...

Just because there is fuel & spark does not necessarily mean there will be combustion. The fuel must be delivered at the correct pressure, the correct volume, and must be delivered as a fog- not a mist.

My suggestions:
  1. set the pump pressure
  2. be sure the fuel filter is clean
  3. be sure no air leaks or vacuum leaks
  4. Desa recommended annual replacement of the nozzle. They wear out. When was the last time yours was changed?

My reddy heater is 110,000 BTU. It started spitering and sputtering like it was out of kerosene, but still has a half a tank. Any ideas?

If you brought the heater to my shop the absolute first thing I would do is shine a flashlight into the tank. Look for water droplets (or trash) rolling around the bottom of the tank. Keep in mind if there is a "layer" of water the light won't find it. Drain the tank if there is a "hint" of contaminants.

Next, I would check the fuel filter for stoppage or restriction.

Reddy Heater will not ignite flame

Please answer the following questions. There are several folks on the board that can help but we need to know some vital information so we can get started. Answer these, if you can:
  1. Which Pro 110 do you have. We need the exact model number. Pro 110 is a series of heaters.
  2. Does the heater have a spark plug or a glowbar (HSI)?
  3. When the motor runs is it pumping fuel?
  4. When the motor runs is the spark plug firing (or glowbar glowing)?
