Please connect an external keyboard to this notebook and verify if the spacebar works fine. If it works fine. Please remove and reseat the keyboard of the notebook and verify if the issue persists. If the issue persists, please replace the keyboard as the keyboard is defective.

Hello. My cat stepped on a keyboard after that I have lost shift-spacebar functions. Please help me to restore it. I have to use another computer to type this massage.

If the keys are jambed and you cannot free them then you most likely need to replace the keyboard.

My laptop got wet and now the keyboard won't work

Let it dry first!i hope you took the battery out soon as it got wet because if water got to your motherboard you are in trouble!if its dry and it dont work replace it!look on the back of the keyboard and get the model or part number the type it on google!

Keyboard will not work i am using on screen keyboad

if the keyboard is working on another computer, please try to plug the keyboard on another USB port if it is a USB keyboard. if it is a wireless keyboard, please do the same with the receiver.

if the keyboard is not operational on any computer, this is the best time to get a replacement

Need to re-attach a key that key has fallen off the keyboard

Keys on a keyboard cannot be replaced, especially on a laptop keyboard. You will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer to have them send you a new keyboard to connect to your laptop. They are fairly easy to replace.

dear sir.

if u need to replace keyboard as my sujetion is perchase from otherise center they replace yr keyboard and plase it to yr laptop. and there no need to seen eny videos or guide it's simple stape to replace it just open frunt LCD panel downln plastic part then it's show 2 sckru just open it then safly remove keyboard and same as put new one but be safe a wair of keyboard is very scancitive it's help u....;)

Replace keyboard for fujitsu siemens amilo pro v3515

Hello Den,

1st remove the Battery ..u will find screw below the battery ..unscrew it and then remove the blastic bar above the keyboard which contain the power ,wireless..etc Keys ..afterthat u can remove the key board and replace the new one...

Missing Keys on the the keyboard, want to replace the whole keyboard.

If you are handy with a screw driver and take your time, you should have no problems replacing your keyboard.

Tools Required: A small Phillips and a small flat-blade screwdriver are required replace the keyboard.

Gateway has excellent documentation on how to replace your damaged keyboard.
