Trouble ordering part LSUQ0100 JIG

Trouble ordering Panasonic part LSUQ0100 JIG any suggestions?

  • redmango Apr 10, 2008

Yeah I know that, Panasonic told me I could be shot for trying to order as an end-user, what a crock. So if a product is out of warranty I have to have a $300 service call to get a part? That's why I'm posting here, how can I go about getting this part?

Unfortunately, unless you are a servicer you cannot order the part. It is considered a repair part and is not provided to consumers. Unauthorized servicers can order by contacting the unauthorized tech support hotline and they will be provided a temporary authorization code. Sorry.

You need to be an authorized panasonic service center to get that item.

Its actually unavailable unless you can get a authorized panasonic repair shop to sell it to you. I have had a repair shop since 1982 and because i dont do panasonic warranty work I cant even get one. I have tried numerous times for other models they always say the same thing. Need a user name and password to even order it. Wished I could help you out with it. Its actually a stupid policy on their part.

Phone number

The EEPROM jig is available ONLY through Panasonic's Technical Service line. A few places offer it for sale, but you still need an authorization directly from the Panasonic's engineers to get one.

The guys will ask for your company name and Panasonic account number. If you are not Panasonic Factory Service center, they cannot even talk to you. (not their fault, it's company policy)

If you are out of warranty, call Panasonic and see if they will give you a one-time concession for repair. Usually the company is pretty good about it...

Good luck, Mark

LSUQ0100 tool

You have to be a Panasonic Factory Service center. Tritronics
sells them, but you still need an authorization directly from
Panasonic's Tech Support engineers - period. (You will be asked for your company name and account number before they will even talk to you)

If you can get one one otherwise, it's hot and the center that got it for you will lose their authorization should they be found out.

If you contact Panasonic directly, they may give you a concession for repair on this problem. In my experience, once the EEPROM
data is reloaded and updated, the problem is permanently fixed

Good luck, Mark

Panasonic TH-42PD25

This is a known problem. Panasonic sells a jig to correct it. I had the same problem and bought the jig for $60. It plugs into a special port in the back of the tv behind a little door. You can read all about it here: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthrea... if you want, contact me by replying and I can mail you the jig temporarily for $10 plus S&H. You'll save money and it worked for me, i just need it back.
