Question about Kenmore 22422 Top Load Washer
Remove the clips holding the waterpump and move it out of the way. Unplug the motor wires and remove the clips holding the motor and remove the motor. The coupler is between the motor and gearcase. It consists of two plastic pieces and a rubber piece between them. One plastic piece on the motor shaft, one on the gearcase shaft, and the rubber sandwiched between them.
You can go to sears.com, click on parts, enter your complete model number from the washer, and veiw a parts diagram of the machine. This can be helpful in disassembly and reassembly.
