Tomtom iq not working

Look real close for a small hole that might be a reset hole. If so open a paperclip and gently push the reset. You should be able to feel it depress.

We want to reset the clock from am to pm or start beginning questions all over again.

1. Turn on the TomTom unit. 2. Tap the screen to bring up the menu. 3. Tap the "Change Preferences" icon 4. Keep hitting the arrow to go to the next page. Clock setting is on page 6 of the preferences dialog. 5. If the Set Clock option is greyed out, you will need to perform a system reset and then perform these steps over again.
To reset the system, start with the power off. Then, hold down the power button for about 15 seconds, until you see the TomTom logo appear on the display. When the logo appears, release the power button. After this reset, you should be able to turn the unit back on and proceed with your setup from scratch.

Tom Tom 130 will not power-up ( no working screen) when power button is activated.

To reset your TomTom device, do the following:
  1. Check that the battery is charged properly.

    If your device uses an SD card, remove it.

  3. Reset your device.

  5. Insert the SD card

Reset

Tap "Reset factory settings" button to restore the factory settings to your TomTom XL. All your settings, including Favourites, your Home location, warnings for POIs and any Itineraries you have created are deleted.


Tap "Set Clock" button to select the type of clock that is shown and set the time.

Wrong time on my TomTom go720

Go to "change preferences" and find on page 8 you should find the "set clock" button to change the time.

Always have to reset clock

Have you gone to the TomTom site to see if there are any new upgrades. There may have been a miss program in that model that may need to be upgraded.. I use a tomtom and have not had any trouble.

Clock

tap the screen for menu
tap change preferences
tap through 4 page screens and select "set Clock"
~ after you select the display style, a screen will appear to set the time.
