Coby mpc7095 When I plug in the coby mpc7095 into my computer it says device not found. How do I correct this problem?

  • deziballer Jan 04, 2009

My player isn't recognized by my computer when i plug it in. It worked for the very first time, but since then, it hasn't been recognized. I tried to put it on a different computer, but that computer wouldn't recognize it either. I switched the USB modes to see if that would help, but it still wouldn't work. I have a HP Laptop running on Windows Vista. What should I do to solve this problem?

Hmm... I'm not sure if this will work but it did when mine wouldn't work. Just go to settings at the bottom and choose usb mode and select mpc, that should solve your problem

Problems with computer connection

There's many reason that explain why a usb device can't be recognized by a computer, such as:

If it use to be recognized & function:
- Try the device on other computer, to check if it is ok.
- Try the computer with other device.
- Some computer virus can damage the function of usb device, if it is, try to clean up your computer and usb device.
- If you ever plug other similar device to the computer, and the device failed to be installed, then the computer will mark all similar device as unknown. Try to reinstall the driver, but remove the unknown mark first (plug the device, right click on my computer, properties, device manager, then find device with question mark or X mark, then uninstall it)

If it has never work with the computer before:
- Try other driver, contact the device vendor, or find in internet
