when you go to print something, the screen comes up with the print instructions
no of copies
print all print pages etc
there you will find a properties tab
click on that and it takes you to paper size next tab is black & white or color click on color and then down the bottom click on default
as to problems with hp printers , I use a hp deskjet 2050 series now over 9 years old and still capable of printing out manuals up to 1000 pages long so makes me wonder if you are expecting too much from your printers and why with so much dissatisfaction with a product, you still persist in buying the brand
this is because of the low ink in the catridge. normally the colour catridge contains three colour in it. yellow ,blue and i think one more is pink. so in your case the other colours might have finished. so because of that you are getting only yellow. so please replace the catridge with new one and the problem wil be solved
First you need to change the settings in the software you are trying to print the envelope. Open the program (for example MS Word), go to the option from which you print envelopes and labels. Set the font color to black, not "automatic", and in Word, click "default", which sets the color as black rather than allowing the printer or its software to select the wrong color. Then try to print on the envelope and let us know if you are able to print the envelope in black only.
