Hp photosmart 945 does not turn on all the way

This camera takes a lithium battery and if it is left to fully discharge then you may never be able to charge it up again. Your answer may be another battery. Find a cheap third party battery to try it out.

I have a complete HP 945 camera that needs a CCD . Everything else seems to be ok and the case is newish in good condition.
If you want the camera for parts. I would be willing to sell it for $10 plus shipping and insurance. $20 total to you in the lower 48 States USA. You can either download software from HP's website or use a third party program such as Google's Picasa to download the photos for you.

Were you on vacation in a hot, humid climate?

clean the contacts of the battary chamber,and use rechareable battaries 0f 2500mAH.

The MS IE 7 or 8 browsers might be incompatible with HP Director.
There is a patch at HP website and type in HP Director not working
