How do I remove the filter

Lancaster air purifiers can have different models and designs, so the exact location and method for removing the filter may vary. However, I can provide you with some general guidance that should help you locate and remove the filter in most air purifiers.
1. Check the user manual: The first step is to consult the user manual that came with the air purifier. It typically contains specific instructions on how to access and replace the filter. If you don't have the manual, you can often find it online on the manufacturer's website.
2. Look for a filter compartment: Most air purifiers have a designated compartment or access panel where the filter is located. It may be on the back, side, or front of the unit. Examine the air purifier and look for any labeled panels or compartments that indicate the filter's location.
3. Remove the filter cover: Once you've located the filter compartment, you'll need to remove the cover or panel to access the filter. The cover may be secured with screws, clips, or latches. Use a screwdriver or your hands to undo the fasteners and carefully remove the cover.
4. Take out the filter: After removing the cover, you should see the filter inside. Depending on the model, the filter may be a single unit or consist of multiple layers. Take note of how the filter is positioned before removing it to ensure you can correctly replace it later.
5. Follow any additional instructions: Some air purifiers have specific instructions for removing the filter, such as pressing a release button or sliding it out from a designated slot. Refer to the user manual or any labels on the unit for any additional guidance.
6. Clean or replace the filter: Once the filter is removed, you can determine whether it needs cleaning or replacement. If it's a reusable filter, check the manufacturer's instructions on how to clean it properly. For disposable filters, it's generally recommended to replace them according to the manufacturer's guidelines.
Remember to consult the specific user manual for your Lancaster air purifier model to get accurate instructions tailored to your device.

Honeywell 17000 just stopped working

That capacitor, if it is the start up capacitor will cause the motor to hum loudly. If it is the 'run' capacitor and is open circuit the motor will not start.
That is an easy fix.
he flickering lights may suggest a different issue.

Why is there delayed start & screeching?

The motor needs to be oiled. There are places to add oil on the ends of the motor. There may be a start capacitor that needs replaced too.

How to disassemble Shark Mop s3601? I took all

You need to remove the shark and power button sticklers. There is two screws in each. Once you remove the screws you slide the grey cover and remove 3 more screws holding the chrome piece. Now you can spread the cover open. I just replaced a torn hose.

How do i replace the release lever on a hoover windtunnel

This is definitely one of those "easy when you know how" things. No screws or plates or anything to remove. It is a case of getting the old one out and slipping in the new part:

The part clips in so you need to unclip the old (broken) one to get it out.

You need a small flat head screw driver to unclip the old one. You come into the opening via the UNDERSIDE of the vac as in pic one. You will release it and pull the old part out via the top side.

Below is a pic of the removed (broken) part. The arrows show the two round nipple like ends and these are what you need to release using the screw driving (and then pulling the part out the top).

Once you have the old part out the new one is slid in via the TOP of vacuum and clicks into place

This next pic gives you an idea of what you are trying to achieve.
The RED arrows are the new part in place. The YELLOW arrow shows what the "two round nipples" click into.

Sorry the pics are not better.

WILL NOT START....NO POWER? BOUGHT AT SEAR JUNE OF 2010. HONEYWELL MODEL 17000

Make sure that the receptacle that it's plugged in to is still working. The circuit breaker for that outlet may have been tripped in your home's circuit breaker panel. Or there may be a loose wire or bad connection inside the outlet box. May not be air purifiers fault at all.

HOW TO REMOVE FRONT CONTROL PANEL IN ECOQUEST AIR PURIFIER

behind the front panel fingerboard on each side there is a screw hidden. You have to very slightly and gently with a fine bladed knife pry up those left and right sides to expose the screw. Its a thin piece of plastic covering the screen. Be very careful because there are electronics imbedded in the fingerpad that you are prying up. Gently lift the sticky covering only enough to get to the screws. It can be done but be careful.

Honeywell air purifier, will not turn on, obviously getting power. but pushing the buttons on the control panel does not result in the machine turning on. This is the 17000. Can anyone help?

Does this unit have a 3 volt battery in the control panel like the 17005 model? The battery lasts appx 4-5 years then the unit doesnt seem to work any more once you change it. The unit must be left plugged in while you change the battery otherwise you lose your programing. If your not under warranty, UNPLUG it then pull out the filter, take out the 6 screws, separate the sides, and expose the fan. If the fan does not spin very easilly with no drag, the bearings are gummy; which is why nearly all small motors get replaced. The motor can be easilly disassembled, gummy grease washed off with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab, and reoiled with synthetic oil. These units are designed to gum up and require replacement at approximately the same time the warranty expires. They would last almost indefinitely if oiled in their little oil ports occasionally (every couple of years). If your bearings are stiff, then a hidden safety device has tripped to avoid a fire, and if you are handy, you can replace the blown fuse if you can locate it on the circuit board, or the blown over temp device. If you have to pay some one to do this, it is cheaper to replace the whole machine in this throw away world.
