Vizio 50" P50hdm Audio with No Video

powers up no audio,.no video just a blank screen what should i do? powers up no audio,.no video just a blank screen what should i do?

I have a Vizio P42 Plasma TV. Worked fine for two years. Then When I was watchin it, the Screen blinked and went out. The sound was fine on all inputs. I am and Electronics Engineer expert in Aircraft electronic systems. Without making any examination, I tought the power supply or voltage to the video card or drivers was out. I ordered the power supply. Later, I took the back panel off. The Y board (vertical drive) has two fuses and one was out. 4Amp at 240 volts. The voltage was 90 volts. This is where the power is consumed on High wattage usages of Plasma TVS. I replaced the Fast Acting Fuse with a slow Blow Fuse and power up the TV. This time the entire power supply to the TV went out. It has a safety feature to turn the power out when overdriven. Then I believe that the Y driver was bad and price it at $170 by Vance with 75.00 core charge plus shipping. I am thinking about it. The price of the same tv is 800 if I decide to buy a Vizio again. I have a very diffult time trying to find the shematics or at least a block diagram and nomenclature of each of the boards in the TV. Nobody but Vizio has them and they do not release them. Others, like Samsung or Sony you can buy and download on the internet at a reasonable price of $10.00. Even if I repair it at $200.00 I end up with a tv that will probably fail again in two years. Why not buy another kind of TV, get a two year extended warranty and get the schematics if I needed. My advise to others. Do not buy a Vizio, if you buy it, get the extended warranty which will be probably not so good and pray it does not fail.
