My HP laser 6L gold printer is 10 years old.After changing the configuration of my PC im not able to install my printer as my installer CD IS LOST
is there some way out?
I have a HP laser 6L gold printer, it is working properly. Now the problem is I had lost my Installer/Driver Floppy, I therefore unable to install my Printer on the PC. I am using Windows 98 SE Operating System. Win98 has a self 6L PCL Driver but I want to install actual Driver. May I request you to kindly provide the same.

When i give print command after selecting hp laserjet 6L gold printer just printer icon blink for 2 seconds on below toolbar and disappear and printer remain inactive
so printing is not possible pls help me

Windows xp sp2 has the drivers bilt in, means you dont need the CD. you just need to add the printer:
Go to START , SETTINGS, PRINTERS ANS FAXS, then ADD PRINTER, NEXT, (local printer attached to this computer) and uncheck (automatically detect...) use the following port LPT1,
on MANUFACTURE choose HP on PRINTER choose Laserjet

1.During the course of handling one of my friend has mistakently uninstalled the programme from the computer memory and therefore all printing commands are not executed.
